Alan Wright (MCAC Chair)

Boston (Roslindale)

Alan Wright, who has been a resident of Roslindale since 1993, became involved in Massport issues through the Logan CAC in 1996 when Runway 27 returned to use and jet traffic kept him awake late at night and awakened him early in the morning. Alan began his career as a registered nurse but later, after earning a masters in public health and a PD in health policy, worked in various management, software, and data analytic positions. In retirement Alan volunteers in bicycle, housing and refugee advocacy, and with the Massport CAC. He sought to become Chair to promote the MCAC working on environmental health problems that affect Boston area residents exposed to air pollution and noise emissions emanating from Massport operations.
