Declan Boland served as the Hingham Representative to Massport CAC from 2008 to 2015 and served as an elected leadership executive for four of those years. He also served on a number of Hingham town committees for developing improved sports facilities and chaired the noise bye law committee in 2014-2015. He currently is a Board member of Aims Chapel in Hingham and park ranger for The Trustees of Reservations.
Declan Boland began his career in Saudi Arabia working for a dairy farm development company. On returning to his native Ireland, he worked as a tour operator for 7 years. He moved to the US in 1984 and developed a successful career in consulting and IT Services in aviation for various international Fortune 250 corporations including DXC Technology, Rockwell Collins (United Technologies), Massport, NavBlue (Airbus), Satyam Computer Services (Mahindra), Unisys and IBM.
